Circus Crazy Carnival !!!!
Today was an awesome day here at VC and now that the campers got to know each other better, the energy of the camp is even higher!
In the morning, everyone was going to their activity in an amazing sunny athmosphere. Riding and golf went off site and activities & adventure tasted climbing and had a lot of fun! Greens stayed on site to cook lovely cupcakes! They were very tasty!!!
In the afternoon, as usual, it was time for Kangaroo Court! After that, everyone went to their session C & D sign ups such as: cooking, tennis, football, arts & crafts, boxercise, jewllery making, ultimate frisbee, volleyball, bootcamp, tie dye, mural making, yoga... We can feel a good energy and a strong team spririt !!!
After dinner, it was time for one of the greatest nights here at VC York : the amazing Carnival Night!!! A great evening for all the campers to spend time, and play all together in the secret garden. Bouncy Castles, Inflatable Sumo Suits and variety of fun carnival stands such as Ball & Bucket Toss, splat the cat, candy elevator, zumba, or Fortune telling to mention a few. The aim of the game is to visit many carnival stands as possible in order to win points for their team! The ambiance was crazy and at the end we all had an amazing water fight!
- Breakfast: English muffin with baked beans. Assorted of cereals & homemade muesli, fresh fruit. Homemade yoghurt & fruit coulis
- Lunch: Lasagna minced beef bolognese/ five vegetable lasagna with chips, roast courgettes. Salad bar. Semolina with raspberry jam
- Dinner: Chicken kiev, red pepper, olive & feta frittata with oven roast jacket potatoes. Summer fruit pudding/homemade yoghurt & fruit coulis
