International Night
Today was an awesome day with a show that you will find only in Village Camps, it was International Night!
The morning programs were a success as usual. In Activity and Adventures, the campers stayed on site and prepared for their camp out the next day. Creative arts made amazing drawings that are now on one of the walls in accommodations. Football and basketball are getting ready for their match against the counsellors. And the performing arts campers are really excited to show their performance to everyone.
However the big event of the day was of course the International Night. After a last preparation session in the afternoon, when some of the campers cooked a traditional dish for 150 people, the kids tasted everything that their friends prepared. And thank you to our amazing chefs who managed to feed everyone, even their dear counsellors who waited for everybody to finish. It was much better than today's dinner.
Afterwards, everybody went to the theatre to watch each country's show. Hannah and Fiona dressed as two aliens from the land of Sprinkle Inkle were the hosts for the evening. Every team was amazing! Even those who had only three campers! From dances, flags and national anthems. We all learnt something tonight and we made the others discover some parts of our country. Every single nation represented puts their full effort into making sure everyone is proud of where they come from and therefore International Night becomes a very celebrated evening at Village Camps. Tonight was no exception with an amazing effort from each country making for a very entertaining night of cultural experience.

- Dinner: Savoury Minced Beef, (v) Macaroni Cheese, Jacket Potatoes, Medley of Vegetables, Chocolate Rice Pudding
