Summer Camp England
Excursions!
So today is our excursions day, all the morning programmes take off to various places around the area on different excursions! Activity and adventure are away for the night on a camp out, lucky things! They have spent the morning hiking and gorge walking, then tonight they get to relax in front of a fire with a barbeque! Creative Arts went to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, where they spent the morning wandering around in the sun, and doing landscape sketches. Football is still away as they went a bit further afield to Manchester City Football Stadium, but they will be back later tonight! The English Program went off to the Leeds Sailing Center for the morning, to take part in various activities including a boat race across the lake! Everyone fell in at least once, but fun was had by all! Performing Arts stayed on campus in order to carry on rehearsing their performance which we all get to see on Friday, very exciting! Tonight will be quiet one without the activity and adventure group, but evening programs continue all the same, with the blues having a Quiz Night (of course with chocolate prizes for the winners!) and the reds and yellows will be teaming up for a night of Murder Mystery...!
- Breakfast: Scrambled Eggs, and Assorted Cereals
- Lunch: Steamed Salmon, Risotto and Salad Bar
- Dinner: Sausages and Mashed Potatoes, Salad Bar and Doughnuts
