Val was born in Toronto, Canada and is here for the first time at Village Camps but she says she is having a great time. She is our Arts and Crafts Specialist while here at camp but outside camp she is a teacher and upon her return to Canada will be teaching Grade 2. At university Val studied Geography and Anthropology.

She has many hobbies and interests including scrapbooking, spending time with family and friends and taking part in various activities such as boxing and softball. Val loves travelling and after camp finishes she will take the train to France and from there will go as far as Croatia before her return to Canada.

For photos of some of the things that Val has made with the campers be sure to check out the website photos and the slideshow.
