Other duties involve assisting in creative, outdoor and sporting activities such as trekking, rock climbing, mountain biking, orienteering, arts and crafts, archery, dance, horse riding, tennis, football and basketball. They are wholly responsible for providing the necessary pastoral care, dealing with many issues including homesickness, conflict resolution and hyperactivity, participating in and leading activities as programmed, assisting in developing and maintaining a safe and stable environment of caring, cooperation and FUN within the Junior group and camp and operating as a team with a co-counsellor and all other staff. Other duties involve assisting in creative and outdoor activities such as swimming, drama, dance, tennis, football and cricket. Additional responsibilities include supervising during meal times and excursions, participating in evening programmes and wake-up/lights-out duties.

The Photographer/Technical Support takes digital photos and records videos of all the aspects of Camp life on a daily basis and makes sure the network and internet connections are operational. The Photographer reports to and gets direct instructions from, the Village Camp Web & Network Support Team at the Head office in Nyon, Switzerland. The daily tasks also include grouping all the captured photos and videos labelled by activities, location and colour group or programme; sending all the material in it's original un-cropped, un-resized form for the publication in the Camp Journals; gathering all available photos and videos from Campers and Staff members and send them on a regular basis; gathering and sending all the daily Camp News and Editorials from the staff members and Camp Director. Additional responsibilities include supervising during meal times and excursions, participating in evening programmes and wake-up/lights-out duties.

The receptionist greets all visitors entering the building, follows sign in and out procedures depending on age of campers, answers telephone enquiries in an appropriate manner, maintains a log book of all messages received and distributes accurate messages to individuals, calls parents to discuss the progress of their child as required by the camp director, distributes incoming mail and delivers out-going mail to post office daily, and ensures that copies of camp lists and activity information are maintained and updated at all times. Participation in all other aspects of camp life is expected.

Applicant must have experience working with Microsoft Excel and Word. Knowledge of a second language such as French/ Italian or Arabic is an advantage. Please note that a criminal background certification is mandatory for this position
