Programme Staff - TEFL Teacher/Activity Counsellor

TEFL, ELT/TESOL Teacher teaches beginners to advanced level English for several periods during designated times in the day. A variety of backgrounds will be represented and children may vary in age and ability in the classroom. Teacher is required to submit long-range plans, plan daily lessons and monitor students' progress using effective techniques. Other duties involve assisting in creative, outdoor and sporting activities such as trekking, swimming, mountain biking, orienteering, arts and crafts, archery, drama, dance, tennis, football, lacrosse, cricket and basketball. Additional responsibilities include supervising during meal times and excursions, participating in evening programmes and wake-up/lights-out duties.

Applicant must be a native English speaker and hold a TEFL, ELT/TESOL qualification. Candidate must have proven teaching experience of a minimum of one year. Please be aware that a 1st Aid and CPR certification and a criminal record background check are mandatory requirements for this position.

Health Care Manager is responsible for camper and staff health. Daily duties range from providing first aid and administering medication. Additional responsibilities include supervising during meal times and excursions, participating in evening programmes and wake-up/lights-out duties.

Applicants must have experience working in health care. A RN certification is an advantage. A criminal background check is mandatory for this position.

Adventure counsellor leads the Adventure programme as well as leading a wide range of sporting, creative and outdoor activities such as trekking, swimming, rock climbing, mountain biking, canyoning, raft building, orienteering, arts and crafts, archery, drama, dance, tennis, soccer and basketball. Additional responsibilities include supervising during meal times and excursions, participating in evening programmes and wake-up/lights-out duties. Due to staff ratio of male to female staff members, we can now only accept applications from male applicants.

Applicant must have qualifications and/or proven experience in relevant Outdoor Adventure activities. A first aid-CPR certification and a criminal background certification are mandatory for this position

The Photographer/Videographer takes digital photos and records videos of all the aspects of Camp life on a daily basis and posts them on the Village Camps website and social media. Applicant will also be responsible for taking video coverage of the campers and editing this coverage into short promotional videos. Additional responsibilities include supervising during meal times and excursions, participating in evening programmes and wake-up/lights-out duties.

Applicant must have photographic and video/film making experience. Please note that a criminal background certification is mandatory for this position.
