The chalet has outdoor tennis courts, badminton courts, a multi-purpose
gym, table tennis, an internet café with Imac computers, classrooms,
a disco and an outdoor chessboard. Facilities in the area include a
swimming pool (indoor and outdoor), climbing walls (artificial and
natural), a rollerblade park, a skating rink, tennis courts (indoor
and outdoor), a BMX track, a summer sledding run, an 18 hole championship
golf course, a ropes course, a football pitch, a mountain hut and a mini

| Counsellors include teachers, activity
counsellors, group leaders and specialists. Each session, counsellors are
assigned to a colour group representing campers of a certain age range.
A colour group is divided into smaller groups of campers to which counsellors
are assigned. In addition to everyday programme duties, counsellors play
a strong nurturing role. They are expected to be positive, energetic and
able to deal with diverse personalities and behavioural issues sensitively.
Counsellors need to have a sense of group responsibility and be responsive
to the needs of children. Days are physically challenging and involve long
hours on duty, often 24 hours a day, day after day. |
