Over the last 40 years more than 200'000 campers have experienced Village Camps Programmes, helping raise generations of kids and teenagers. Lifetime friends, lifetime memories and even marriages happen as a result of Village Camps!
Many campers come back several years in a row, in some cases right through from the age of 7 to 18. And it doesn't end there! After turning 18 a good number of campers become counsellors. Around one quarter of our counsellors have had camper experience themselves and carry on sharing it with new generations.
Whether the camp experience is as extended as this or whether it's just for one summer, it often comes full circle with many Campers sending their own children to camp. There are already three generations of families that have shared their summer camp adventures with Village Camps!
