Situated in a glorious countryside,
in a valley of mountains and glacier caps, the quaint village of Piesendorf
is the home of the Austrian Village Camp. It is located one and
a half hours from Salzburg and five minutes from the renowned resort
of Zell am See. |

| ACCOMMODATION |
The Chalet Notburgahof is
a magnificently constructed wooden chalet, with rooms & balconies
offering views photographers dream about. The chalet has a fully-equipped
on-site multi-purpose gym for sports and evening activities, as well
as language classrooms, video-making studio with Imacs, internet café,
conference room and disco. For outdoor entertainment, there are two all-season
tennis courts, badminton courts, ping-pong tables and chessboard sites.
Spacious rooms, accommodating three to five campers, each have toilets,
showers and the amenities of home. Campers are assigned to rooms according
to age and gender and a staff of trained counsellors are responsible for
seeing to the safety, care and special needs of each camper. The chalet
can welcome up to eighty guests. |

SURROUNDING FACILITIES |

Within easy walking distance
is a super-sports complex that is part of the facilities available to
campers. Included within the complex are a beautiful swimming pool,
water slides, beach volleyball court, football pitch, 4 clay tennis courts,
outdoor snooker, trampolines and an evening campfire site. Great hiking & biking
trails abound. Chalet equipment includes ten mountain bikes with more
available at local sport stores.

CAMP ORGANISATION |
|
| |
Whether in the German Language, English Language, Mountain & Lake Adventure, Riding or Film Camps, the entire programme will be part of the film production. With an extremely talented director in place, the film storyboard will include all aspects of the programme. Activities and languages will be part of the film and everyone will get much more out of the experience. This is a new, very exciting development which will greatly benefit all participants.
Mornings are devoted to the chosen camp while the afternoons will integrate everyone into a film production. Evenings will consist of challenging events and the atmosphere created will greatly add to the pleasure and joy of each camper. Do click on the Film Camp.

EVENING PROGRAMMES |

Evenings are filled with exciting
and imaginative games, spectacular events and relaxing activities. These
include discos, indoor Olympics, team-building
challenges and plenty of games geared to age levels, with village outings
and much, much more. |

EXCURSIONS |

excursions are planned with the actual number to take place depending

Salzburg - Birthplace
of Mozart - An excursion day to Salzburg is held once per session. Campers
are introduced to Austrian culture thanks to visits to historic sites
as well as to current ones. Trip includes visit to:

Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse - Campers
pass through one of the most spectacular, unspoilt landscapes on the globe.
Meadows, woods, alpine pastures, rocks and ice await campers before the
final view of the Grossglockner, Austria’s highest mountain (3798m).
|
|

Krimml Waterfalls - Dropping
in three stages a total of 380 metres, it is the only Austrian landmark
to receive the European parliament’s Nature Preservation Diploma
in 1967.
|
|

Mountain Hut Overnight - The
highlight of the camp: an exciting hike through the scenic Austrian Alps
culminating with an overnight stay in a traditional mountain hut in the
area with breath-taking views over the valley below. |
