Camp Journal - Ardeche, France

An early start brought all the campers together for a quick breakfast and geared them up for a day at Aqualand, a water slide theme park three hours away.

The kids enjoyed some of the morning and most of the afternoon sliding, slipping and turning down fast paced slides. Between the extreme rides some chose to relax and float on the lazy river that meandors throughout the park. After lots of sunscreen, snacks and splashes the campers loaded the bus for a much quieter ride back to the Ardèche.

Marco, camp chef, served up a very welcome dinner to the kids to gear them up for an evening of sports. All the campers split into their French and activity groups and participated in a circuit. Neil worked with each group playing cricket while the others had a taste of gaga ball, football and bocce. The day was packed with fun activities and high energy! Bedtime was welcome to all.
