The spotlight today is on the very popular Outdoor Adventure Club -- one of the three clubs that form the Village Camps Multi-Activity Camp (the other two are Dance Club and Sports Club).
This club is off to some new and exciting adventure just about every day -- high ropes, white-water rafting, mountain climbing, mountain biking, hiking, etc.
Most of the photos for today are of the Outdoor Adventure Club -- but there are pictures of a few of other activities.
Hard to realize that we are on the second week of this session. Time really goes by fast at Village Camps, Switzerland - Time always goes by fast when you are having fun!!
When campers register for the very popular Village Camps Multi-Activity camp, they are asked to pick one of three "clubs" that would be the focus of their stay at camp. The three clubs are Outdoor Adventure Club, Sports Club, and Dance Club. Using this approach, campers are able to concentrate on certain types of activities every morning, activities that are more aligned to their interests. At the same time, campers enjoy access to a wide variety of other afternoon activities for a well rounded, fun holiday.
The Outdoor Adventure Club is designed for campers of all ages and provides campers with a chance to stretch their "comfort bubble" in a fun and very safe environment. The activities for this club include orienteering, outdoor living skills, mountain biking, rock climbing, exploring the high ropes course, and white water rafting. This club is supervised by "Climbing Dave."
In the afternoons and evenings the campers in the Multi-Activity Clubs join in the other camp activities or, at times, carry on with the pursuits that they enjoy so much.
