Camp Journal - Zell am See, Austria

Supermarket Challenge ...

hut trip and much more went on today.

This morning the German classes all took the train into Zell am See for the morning where they had a special German supermarket challenge putting their German language skills to the test in a practical setting was no problem for the team!

Film camp was busy again with some interesting and action packed scenes to be filmed.

Red and Blue multi-activity group headed back to Zell am See for another exciting morning on the lake this time they were kayaking.

The Yellow multi-activity group were busy packing their bags and then heading off for a day and night of exploring the alps on the overnight hut trip to the Salzburger Hutte.

After lunch it was time for all the Red’s to pack their bags and head off as well. They were catching the train into Zell am See and then the cable car up the mountain to then Hike to their overnight hut. They had a great afternoon as the sun came out and they explored the mountain tops. Back at camp the rest of the group chose between volleyball, ultimate Frisbee, football and swimming and enjoyed an afternoon of sunshine, fun times and good company.

After dinner we had a ‘Team Challenge’ evening where the Yellows and Blues worked together to problem solve and strategise in order to succeed in their set challenges. The campers worked really well together and enjoyed putting their heads together to solve tasks.
