Yippee!!!
Since the all the reds and most of the yellows are away. We thought we would take the English, German, Film and Horse riding camp out for the morning. Krimml waterfalls here we come. At 380 m these waterfalls are the tallest in Europe and fifth tallest in the world. With a stunning day awaiting us, we walk for a short while to get to the base of the final tier of the waterfall. We stop for pictures and a packed lunch. What an amazing place!
Whilst we are relaxing by the glacier summer melt waters, the reds were descending from a lively night in the Pinzguaer hutte, and the yellows were descending from the Salzburgger hutte.
The afternoon brought about more bandana activities, swimming, football, Frisbee, a luxurious sauna and spa to ease the tensions in those weary leg muscles. There was a great deal of relaxing around the pool. This afternoon it was the Blues turn to leave camp and head out to a mountain hutte. They used the Kitzsteinhorn cable car to quickly access the mountains and had a pleasant walk out to the Salzburgger hutte.
In the evening, it was a movie for the yellows and a campfire for the reds. What a day, what a first week. Only 6 more days!!.. nooooo…….
